About My Sculpture

On this site you can view pictures and purchase sculptural pieces that I produce. These pieces are created by heating steel in a gas forge (or furnace) until it is red hot and then hammered into the desired forms. When the forging process is completed the piece is naturally patinaed by very controlled heating. Final colors vary from light bronze to red to peacock to blue. While the steel is hot I coat it with beeswax to protect it from tranishing.

Besides a forge my tools include hammers, anvil, welders, grinders, gas torches and a large pneumatic hammer that sits on the floor and weighs 1500 pounds.

Hi Dad, your site looks really good. There are a few spelling errors in your text. I'm going to send the URL to some of my friends who would like to see your pieces.

xoxo.
